Unique Fading Embroidery Furisode - Tie Dye Kanoko Deer Fawn Spots Weaving River Streams Orange

This is a rare, silk furisode that features faded embroidery, in that some of the embroidery actually changes color within each segment. This is done in the multicolored peonies and some of the leaves. Zoom in on some of the photos and look at how cool it looks. ;)

The tiny dots (known as "deer fawn spots" or "kanoko") are made using genuine shibori (Japanese tie dye) and they create many patterns, such as weaving (patterns that look like bricks or rectangles), waves, and clouds. You can also see that these small patterns are contained within hand fan ("sensu") patterns.
