Heavier items will usually have the cost of shipping fully built in, so there are no shipping fees.

Because shipping fees are built into our prices, you can receive a discount for making a large order.

Packages Delivered since February, 2022:

USA, Territories, & Bases:

Standard shipping is with Japan Post. Delivery is expected to take 2-3 weeks.
Orders with express shipping (via Yamato/UPS) are usually delivered in about 1 week.

Japan Post:
$11 on orders of small/lightweight items (obijime, juban) and free on large items (kimono, fukuro obi) over $40. You may be required to pay shipping fees when ordering multiple items under $40.

UPS:
$20 (additional) on orders of individual items and decreases the more items you purchase. Express shipping is free if you order a number of larger items (such as three kimonos), but not if you order a small number of items under $40.

Canada:

Europe:

Packages sent through Japan Post usually take 1-5 weeks. The Netherlands, UK, France, Germany, and other nearby countries usually receive packages in a week.
Packages sent through UPS usually arrive in 1-3 weeks.

Japan Post:
$10 on orders of small items, free on large items over $40.

UPS:
The price starts at US$40 and decreases as you add more items.
3+ large items (kimono, furisode, fukuro obi): Free

UPS is unavailable for certain countries due to significantly high shipping fees. Larger orders will be split to keep packages under 2kg.

Asia, Oceania:

Delivery using Japan Post usually takes 1-3 weeks.
UPS usually takes about 1 week.

Japan Post:
$10 on orders of lightweight items (under 600g), free on large items over $40.

UPS:
$15 (additional) on orders of individual items, sometimes required when ordering two larger items. Free if you order a number of items (such as three kimonos).

Australia:

Shipping fees are the same as with the U.S.
US$11 for lightweight items (under 600g), free for heavier items.

UPS: 1-2 weeks

Africa:

Shipping fees are usually US$20 and decrease the more items you buy.
UPS is usually prohibitively expensive, so it's unlikely that packages will be sent using UPS. Please contact us if you want to make a purchase and use UPS.

We can accept returns within 14 days of delivery. If 14 days have gone by since delivery, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Food products are not returnable. Clearance items are not returnable.

All returns and exchanges that are not due to incorrect item
descriptions will be subject to a 30% restocking fee and the customer will be required to pay all return shipping fees.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also
notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, typically within 3-5 business days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received your refund within 5 business days, please contact the credit card company or bank that issued your card. It may take additional time before your refund is officially posted due to the card company's policies.
