This is a gorgeous blue homongi kimono that features hand-painted white and yellow flowers. When hand-painted kimonos are dyed, they dye everywhere except for the part that will be hand painted, then artists go in and finish the fine details. Most kimonos nowadays are created with inkjet printers, and are oftentimes made outside of Japan.
It is also a bit longer than others, at 171cm, when kimonos of this style are usually 150-162cm.
